On the South Wharf Promenade the WGC Dinner will connect The Common Man, the Common Lawn and Showtime Events Centre with a ‘Streets of Melbourne’ concept, highlighting the flavors, sights and sounds of Melbourne iconic laneways. The evening will be a combination of networking, mingling, dancing and taste the Australian way. Showtime is built in 1884, this once industrial installation has transformed into a lively and stylish venue in Melbourne. The venue’s heritage combined with voguish decor, waterfront and city skyline views gives it a unique atmosphere: contemporary, yet distinctly established. The relaxing Common Man area will offer sufficient seating and include an outdoor entertaining area that extends right to the Yarra’s edge and you’ve got an evening that won’t be forgotten.
Half Day Private Winery Tour of Yarra Valley from Melbourne
The Yarra Valley, one hour northeast of Melbourne, is recognized for its world class, cool climate wineries located in the valley floor surrounded by the panoramic mountains of the Great Dividing Ranges. The afternoon Winery Tour will include visits to two iconic Yarra Valley winery cellar doors. Wine tastings will be conducted, along with cheese platters served at one of the wineries. There will be time to drink a glass or two, while reveling in the scenic surrounds and also time to make any purchases to take/ship home and enjoy later.
