The 8th World Glaucoma Congress, Melbourne, Australia, 27/03/2019-30/03/2019, has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) for a maximum of 17 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
The EACCME® is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.eu. Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. The 8th World Glaucoma Congress has been accredited under Clinical Expertise level 1, at 7 points per day, 1 point equals 1 hour. It is listed in RANZCO’s online CPD Diary as “8th World Glaucoma Conference”. RANZCO attendees can log into the CPD Diary and claim these points once they have attended the congress. Continuing Medical Education Meeting Evaluation It is essential for assessing the quality of the WGC that participants take time to complete the evaluation forms. You can do so at the WGA booth at the exhibition hall. Every participant can have an impact on the planning for the next WGC.
